it ok yall i caved and bought the game moments after i made my last post and im living out my blissful love life now

Ive got through most of the game and boy i have some THOUGHTS... spoilers under the cut!!

I didn't expect to like the game so much cause im not actually that much of a horror fan (<- squeamish) , and like i said in the last post I wasn't sure how fun a game all about decrypting the dialogue will be (<- dumbass). But in the end I think the game mechanics is exactly the source of all the charm!! And come to think of it, it's a very unique mechanic too. The word-guessing makes the game exciting and scary (and sometimes is the key to avoiding certain death), but there's also just something about overcoming "broken" language to express your thoughts that is inherently really sweet to me. Maybe this is a wild comparison but its like that greentext thats like "bad times friend ahead...i go away but we are two of soul, i will return".

The game is also just pretty player-friendly, and the characters are all (well, mostly) really chill, so it wasnt very hard to guess most of the words too. But i will say that sometimes, you can kind of tell the nuance of the language-translation makes more sense as Japanese, so maybe that gave me a slight edge.

After playing the demo I thought this would be a really short game (like around 2-3 hrs), but I clocked in a solid 6 hours today LOL...and im still missing a few endings. Big spoiler but when MC "kills" Mr. crawling it genuinely upset me like GIRL WHAT IN THE FRESH HELL..........😭😭😭 but thank god he was fine :DD the scene where he shut himself in a closet crying because he thought the MC abandoned him 😭😭😭😭 IM SORRYYY but also like omg...😭😭😭😭 he ouppy............😭😭😭😭

But in contrast to those heavy moments there are also points where i think the game doesn't take itself very seriously LOL so by like 3 hours in it just kind of became a really chill game :)) I love how the MC is just so ridiculously forward being like "Do you have a crush on me or something 🥺👉👈" and most of them were just like "whats that lmfao"

Halloween Town is incredibly diverse in all aspects, where there is no standard way to be, nor pressure to be anything other than yourself. Shock always knew she liked women, Lock always knew he liked men, and Barrel always knew he liked all.

Calliope knows Shock's childhood was rocky mostly through "I know how you feel" comments relating sadness, and has the general understanding that the trio weren't always on the best terms with the town, but Shock will tell her when the time is right.

I always imagined the trio were the only ones with up-to-date technology but the idea of Jack getting a phone that he can't use just to be up to speed sounds hilarious. Like it rings and he's just like "Magnificent! 😄" and puts it back in his pocket.

I suppose everyone is tired of me talking about this one, but it's my only published wip 😄 James and Sirius compete as a team in the Triwizard Tournament which sets things that were never supposed to happen in their time in motion. Marauders fight Voldemort AU!

Includes lots of Marauder banter, feels, questionable humour, prongsfoot moments and brand new tasks in the tournament

3. No title yet. Star Wars AU + transmigration* (Prongsfoot)

The Proud Immortal Sith Way was a webnovel with an average rating of 2.5. It was, quite frankly, a piece of shit. The only thing that kept James reading, day after day, was the main character, the Jedi turned Sith, Sirius Black.

Sirius' whole life was filled with misfortune and pain. Upon entering the Order he received nothing but distain and distrust from everyone around him, even from his Master. It was no wonder he turned to the Dark side when everyone was just a useless NPC!

'How is it fair that Sirius had to spend the rest of his life in misery after suffering this whole time?!!’ James wrote at 1AM into the comment section of yet another chapter that had Sirius traveling the galaxy and adding another one-chapter, useless love interest to his harem.

The same night, James died. When he woke up, he was in the novel, the words 'Fine, do better,' apprearing in front of his eyes before they blipped out of existence.

3. It's so different so I have to say there're so many things I'm really excited about. Figuring out who should be who in the SW universe is a lot of fun, but I think I'm mostly looking forward to James and Sirius being absolutely unstoppable with lightsabers and the Force. The aspect of the transmigration is also something I'm really really looking forward to

4. I love fantasy so puttting Prongsfoot in there is just a dream. A scene I'm most excited about is Sirius getting knighted by James and swearing his loaylty to him 🥹

Thank you for the question! 💕 I'm not sure where to start so I'll just put this in bullet points 😄 I hope this makes sense, I’m sure I missed some explanations but I tried to summarize it.

Before college, their sex life was obviously limited because they didn’t have that much privacy and Gale refused to take Bucky to his place. So it was a mix of very careful and quiet non-penetrative sex if they weren't alone in the house and excited experimentation whenever they had time alone, usually during school holidays.

Basically, they had some habits together but in their new circumstances, these habits change. That means another transition period, on top of everything else. This is not a bad thing at all, but there are so many changes they need to navigate that the stress accumulates.

An example: whereas previously, they always tried to be super quiet, they can be as loud as they want now because they rent a small one-bedroom flat together. Except, Gale finds himself unable to stop holding back. He’s anxious about making possibly embarrassing sounds, especially because he realizes that Bucky has stopped holding back and yet he still isn’t very loud.

Then, of course, all their other issues have a negative effect on their sex life.

Getting used to college can be exhausting, so it's also natural that in the first semester, they don’t want to have sex as often as in the next one.

In this AU, they're not the kind of couple who get hot for each other if they're fighting. Gale can hold a grudge for a long time, but even if he doesn’t, after a fight, he usually feels drained and sad, which rarely leads to any kind of opportunity for sex.

Plus, Gale is anxious that he’s not enough for Bucky because "Bucky could have anyone and why would he settle for his first, he probably thinks that's boring." This idea makes Gale tense, hence the sex feeling off.

Meanwhile, Bucky notices Gale's tension and distraction, but he thinks it's because Gale is falling out of love with him. In addition, their new friends don’t help either, because they all think this relationship won't survive anyway and both Bucky and Gale would benefit from a new partner.

Thankfully, we know that this isn’t what happens.

Yes, it’s a rough patch, yes, it’s stressful, but as soon as they finally align again and all their discordant pieces slot back into harmony, sex gets better again. And this is an instant thing actually. Instant, because their sex life was affected mostly by their disharmony and not other things that are slower to heal.

They have a huge fight in which everything comes out, and it's just what they needed because they finally acknowledge all their issues but also share the fact that they both still want the other. That’s all it takes to turn the negative spiral into the first steps of revovery.

They make up and reach a hopeful, positive and relieved state that night, and they have makeup sex.

It’s the first time that they both feel that it's not teenage experimentation anymore. It’s more serious and mature, and when they say I love you, it feels deeper than ever before.

From then on, they get the same relieved-happy-loved feeling from physical intimacy and, well, let’s just say they make up for all the sex they missed in their first semester.

It keeps getting better in the next months, and it's during this period in their lives that they develop that deep and steady intimacy that makes them act like a married couple long before they even tie the knot.

As for MC and Ædric’s relationship at the beginning of ATE, it’s set to already be pretty good after spending so much time together.

Since MC and Ædric are closer in age compared to MC and Ædan and the content of Ædric’s classes are mostly similar to that of MC’s classes (just a bit more advanced), it was decided that they would just have their classes together (and nothing brings people together like suffering through a reading 11 pages long or a vague word problem that gives you a lot of info but not the stuff you need to solve it 😂)

However, little MC’s adoration for Ædan, the awesome and handsome crown prince, was like a shadow that hung over them. As soon as they were done working on their assignments, smol MC would wonder out loud about where Ædan was, what he was doing, if there were any flowers in the garden he liked, things like that. Even though it irked little Ædric (especially little Ædric who started to get flustered whenever MC was near), he never got mad at MC because he would rather listen to them ramble about how pretty Ædan’s eyes were than to waste the time that MC was spending with him by having an argument over his brother.

Ædric may have developed feelings for MC, but he never went beyond dropping some smooth lines because he knew about how love-stricken MC was for his brother. He and Ædan may have had their own problems going on, but he always saw Ædan treat MC well, so he decided that he would be content to watch MC smile from afar, as long as MC was smiling. (Of course, this was before the entire mess Ædan and Helene made)

Romantic feelings aside, Ædric considers MC a good friend whose thoughts and opinions he greatly values, though MC doesn’t quite return the same degree of deep friendship since they’ve mostly been focused on Ædan. And most of the time Ædric doesn’t share much about himself; he’d much rather ask MC how their day has been and listen to a full account of every single thing they did all the way down to the little details, like how gently the wind was blowing as they took a walk around the plaza, things like that (Ædric and I are quite similar in this sense 😄).

Akainu🌋: he’s a little concerned on how the child would react to him since he doesn’t have much experience with children. He tries to get to know the child but it’s very obvious that he’s uncomfortable, it’s takes him sometime to be more at ease.

Ryokugyu 🌱: he’s way too casual with the kid and curses all the time, he literally gives zero fucks.

Fujitora 🐅: he makes sure to bring the child a gift and they bond almost instantly as he has that automatic dad energy that anyone younger than him immediately adopts him as their dad.

Sir Crocodile 🐊: he reads books that would give him an idea on how to bond with the child and also makes sure not to smoke around the child. He instantly becomes protective towards them and gives them advice. After their first meeting, the child usually calls him on his personal DDM and talks to him about random things and he loves it.

Doflamingo Donquixote 🦩: he is a lot to handle on the first meeting mostly because the child is like ‘Why is he dressed like that?’. It takes sometime for them to bond and when they do, it’s usually pretty loud and crazy.

Benn Beckman 🔫: he gives off dad energy so the child is at ease with him off the back. He doesn’t smoke around them because he knows it’s not healthy for them.

Katakuri Charlotte 🍡: it’s really awkward like making new friends for him. He knows how to take care of his siblings because he’s been around them from the time they were born but now this child doesn’t know his nature so it’s a bit tricky. He is super protective of them and they bond over eating sweet treats.

Killer🔪: he really likes kids but they are a little scared off him because of his mask so he tends to take it off around them. He tries to hide his laugh because he’s shy about it but when the kid compliments him about his laugh or his hair, they kinda hit it off right there.

Kaido🐉: the kid is terrified of him the moment they see him because well he looks pretty scary but when he’s sober, he’s very gentle with the little ones as long as they don’t like Oden or anyone that tried to fight him.

King 👑 : he’s nervous to meet the child as he doesn’t know how’d they react to him. The child is beyond excited to see his wings and his flame and wishes they had that too! This makes him smile and he offers to take them for a short flight which they happily agree to.

Queen👑: he’s excited to meet the child and asks them to help him with a song so that they could perform it for his S/O and he tries to keep it light. By the end of their meeting, they’re bff’s.

Izou🔫🔫: the child is in awe about how pretty he is and wants to compliment him but is too shy. So he just tries to get to know the child more and tells them about his childhood before taking them to get some sweet treats.

Dragon D Monkey 🐉🐒: he doesn’t really know how to interact with kids and has to get some advice from his colleagues before making sure to just be relaxed with the child and talk about their interests. It takes some time before they’re both at ease with each other.

Oven Charlotte 🍞: he brings the kid some freshly baked chocolate croissants and invites the kid to come to one of the bakeries to help him with some new recipes, the kid immediately takes to him and is literally attached to him from then because of what a goof ball he is.

Buggy🤡: he’s a complete mess when he meets the child because he wants to make a good impression but he also doesn’t want to scare the kid, however, the kid adores him from the moment they meet because he’s so funny. This warms his heart.

Marco the Phoenix 🦅: he’s a very lay back person who grew up with many different people so he knew exactly how to act around children and the child is comfortable and at ease in his presence.

Eustass Kidd🤘🎸: he acts like a tough guy but deep down he does care for children quite a lot. He brings a toy that he made himself for the kid and tells them they could build stuff together if they want. The kid becomes his favorite person after that.

Rosinantè Donquixote aka Cora-San💕: he loves kids and his clumsy self is something that makes the kid laugh. He and the child become best of friends immediately after meeting.

Hi! i was wanting to apply for the zine, and i had two questions before i submit my form:

1) does the gdoc with a sample of our written work need to have a particular name format? (for example “name_WCzine_application” or something). in the guidelines i found a name format for the completed work, but not for the application document (or i missed it?)

2) in the prompt pitches, we have to give a detailed summary. are you wanting more like a “i would put this as the ao3 summary” thing, or a “this and this happens, and then this also happens”?

by difference between the two i mean mostly, does it have to be more “sounds pretty”, or can it be more like “this is how i would tell it to a person, in a conversation” type of deal?

How do you think Daniel reacted to being in the room with Louis again? What do you think he said to him when he finally got a chance to talk to him in Sonoma?

It is an excellent question, because holy smokes

Like, in addition to... everything else going on lol he's just had this experience as part of his turning:

Louis is such a strong presence in his mind at the point of his turning. It might be Armand's teeth in his neck and Armand's blood delivering the Dark Gift, but it's Louis that Daniel's mind conjures to welcome him.

And then! Just like fate designed it, there Louis is! But I would bet he isn't exactly like Daniel imagined him, all reserved smiles and expectant welcomes, kissing and hugging.

Partially because they are all a little busy, and there are a lot of reunions going on, several more meaningful than Louis and that snack he played too close to the sun with and let slip away one night 10 years ago. But that's not to say that it's not an interesting reunion, because what the hell do they say to each other? When their time together was so brief but the consequences fairly significant already?

Obviously Louis knows Daniel survived that night since the book was published (and I assume there would be details in the book that make it clear to Louis this was Daniel writing and not someone who found the tapes).

But I can't imagine he would have ever expected to find him clinging onto Armand like a lost puppy, his brand new fledgling no less. With everything else weighing on Louis' mind at that moment, I don't know if he would have had the mental bandwidth to fake an unsurprised, polite reaction rather than this

But anyway, Daniel's reaction! Given his hyper, elated state, and that fact his brain was still using Louis to comfort and guide him through his death just hours before, I have to imagine Daniel was pretty excited to see Louis again and to be able to share that he'd managed to become a vampire! Through Armand! Isn't that cool Louis! 😄 Bet you're wondering how that come about, well let me explain *insert barely coherent explanation of what happened since the interview, including I imagine some of the trials and tribulations of getting the book published, "what did you think of the book Louis? Did you like it 🥹 Did I tell your story properly? Any feedback?"*

Armand may need to rescue Louis from his over-eager and excited fledgling 😅

Also I don't imagine Daniel trying to have any particularly deep, "so let's discuss how you fundamentally altered the course of my life, and frankly the lives of anyone who once knew me and cared about me" conversations early on, and maybe not at all until the Trinity Gate days at a minimum. But with Daniel being so... unfiltered in his early fledgling days, I wonder if a few awkward comments slipped out and were just brushed past. But I think Daniel is too happy with the ultimate outcome to hold any bitterness or atribute any blame at that point.

Overall I imagine their early interaction were awkward, and mostly initiated and carried by Daniel, who was still riding the high and barely with it. Probably quite an intense experience for Louis to be faced with really 😂

I'd love to hear other people's input, even if you disagree! It's one of those gaps in canon that I love to think about. They have so many interesting conversations to have at different points throughout the series, as the fall-out from their chance meeting continues to unfold

I am excited, because it's just been so long since I've been able to write more than a couple of sentences due to general fatigue and never-ending work commitments... so, yes, find a snippet below the cut!

Sure, Lily Evans was his ideal woman and he was shamelessly obsessed with the singer-songwriter, but to say that he actually thought he would ever attract her attention - even when he was a star in his own right, albeit in (or rather on) a different field - was a gross exaggeration. He knew that, realistically, he was so far from her type - she notoriously dated pretty, artistic boys and he was quite simply not that - that any and all of his Lily Evans-shaped hopes and dreams were too good to ever come true. So, yes, he might have told some of his teammates in the months leading up to the concert of his lifetime that he was hoping to get her his number, but this was mostly him posturing, even if it lead to incessant teasing on his team's behalf: "Aiming to bend it like Beckham, ey?" Some of them had snickered, followed by lewd and indecent comments about how the Manchester United forward would like to bend over Lily Evans, all right.

Hi, me again! I wanted to read the last chapter of your hxhbb24 fic before I commented on it, because I really wanted to soak it all in before I gushed! Anyways, I ofc expected a satisfying and cozy ending, and you didn't disappoint! I think not including Alluka, here, was definitely the way to go, it encases both Gon and Killua in their world and their relationship/history, which is the focus and keeps it on them! As a matter of fact, you keep other characters to a minimum in the whole thing, and I definitely think it was the right move for the kind of fic you were writing! I was surprised at how quickly the boys move into talking about their hurt right after Killua gets off the boat, but the flow of it all felt so natural, and really showcased how both of them have grown to a place where they're not scared to say how they feel/what they hope for moving on. Loved that!

And I was holding my breath waiting for the confession, and I absolutely love how it was framed from Gon's perspective and his feelings!? That's so underutilized in fic, really excellent stuff here! My favorite line tho: "almost like they should have been doing this all along, like they were meant to kiss from the moment they met" stooooooop my heart!!! And finally, adore the little epilogue of them waking up together as adults, without any nightmares, and ultimately happy, that really made me tear up a little. Excellent work, as always! I'm excited to read anything you choose to write in the future!
